It's hard to imagine a time when this neighborhood didn't look like it does today;
A depressing post apocalyptic Detroit tragedy, devoid of any purpose or meaning. Except that some people still call this place home, to say that it has no purpose would be an insult to them.
I don't have anything new to add to the story, it's been told numerous times already. But since I grew up right next door, something compels me to photograph what I see, and mostly don't see anymore...
